What this site keeps
Emaration LLC runs this outreach. It is not a nonprofit. We keep what you send so a human can answer you. We do not sell it.
The forms
Get Involved has two forms. Follow-a-project sends your email, optional name, and which project you want updates on. The contact form sends your name, email, optional organization, how you prefer to hear back, whether you want project updates, and the note you wrote.
Those posts go to Emaration so we can reply. Each one is stored with the IP address, browser (user agent), and country it came from, and a copy is emailed to Andrew, our co-founder. If the form fails, email hello@emaration.org instead.
The automatic confirmation and any project updates go out through Resend, an email delivery service, or through Cloudflare's email service. If you follow a project, your email address and the name you gave may also be kept in a Resend contact list so updates can reach you.
What we do not do
We do not sell this information. We do not run ad pixels on these pages. Hosting is Cloudflare, which sees ordinary request logs (time, path, IP) the way any site on their network does.
This is not a charity inbox
Emaration is an LLC. Outreach & Community Support is an initiative of that company, not a separate nonprofit. Gifts are not tax-deductible.
Questions, or a request to delete a note you sent: hello@emaration.org.
